The Virginia Crime Code reports and databases identify offenses under § 53.1-202.3 that continue to require defendants to serve 85% of their sentence. The following codes are used in the reports or databases:
1 or √ = 85% of the sentence must be served for the first offense
2 or # = 85% of the sentence must be served for the second or subsequent offense withion the specified group
3 or no symbol = 65% of the sentence must be served for the felony offense
